This Lent season I will be preaching on the act of being discipled and discipling those God has placed in our paths.  Everyone who has ever become a fruitful follower of Jesus Christ had someone disciple to them along the way.  We may have had a family member teach us what it is to truly be a follower of Christ or a Sunday School teacher help us understand that God has called our hands and feet as much as he has called our heart.  The Lent series is titled “INVEST.”  Each one of us has such value in God’s eyes that God invested the very best He had into our lives.  As a proper response, each one of us needs to be pouring into the lives of the people within God’s kingdom.

We all have had God place people in our lives to teach and lead us; it’s time we become the vessel God uses to teach a new generation.
